Back to AMS for the 3rd time – Part 2

Made a visit to “Zaanse Schans, a village on the banks of the river Zaan with line with green wooden houses, charming gardens, small hump-backed bridges, tradesmen's workshops, historic windmills and engaging little shops.”

Don't need to join tour! You can just take a train from AMS Central Station to Koog-Zaandijk station in Alkmaar direction. Follow road sign to get from station to take a short ferry ride to Zaanse Schans.

Can you tell that I really love their cheese?

The machines used to make the wooden shoes.
