Pilatus House - where you can take a closer look & understand wood carvings, soaking yourself away in the world of arts… This is another icon as Oberammergau is world known as the village of wood carvers! They have been carving for more than 500yrs…
Also an icon, this is where the Passion Play is stage. Curious? Oberammergau has been performing this play since 1634 traditionally between every 10 years depicting the life and death of Jesus. Next performance is in 2010. The play is as good as watching the movie version!
